"Good rental, got the job done"
I rented a floor sander for the weekend, and it was pretty much fine for what I needed. Nothing fancy, but it worked, and that was the main thing.
It definitely looked like it had been used a bunch, with some scuffs and this and that, but nothing seemed broken. It ran steady the whole time, and the cord was a little dirty, but I didn’t really care too much.
I’d give it 4 stars overall. The machine did the job, but it could’ve been a bit cleaner when I picked it up...

"Not as “express” as I expected"
I went in thinking it would be a quick stop, especially with “express” in the name, but I ended up waiting a lot longer than I planned. There wasn’t even a big line, which made it more annoying, and I started feeling like I’d been kind of tricked by the whole quick-service idea.
The staff was fine and nobody was rude, so I don’t want to make it sound worse than it was. But i’m always a little wary of places overselling themselves, and this one definitely didn’t feel all that express to me.
"good value for the money"
prices were fair and i got exactly what i needed quickly. no complaints here.

"Not the best oil change experience"
In my experience, the oil change didn’t seem to be done very well. I ended up taking my car somewhere else to have it checked, which was frustrating.

"Poor communication, not worth the hassle"
I tried reaching out a few different times, the communication was frustrating. Replies were slow, the answers I did get weren’t very clear, and it kind of felt like nobody really wanted to help. Isn’t basic communication part of the service?
I totally get that places get busy, but would a quick update have been that hard? I was left feeling annoyed and like I had to chase everything down myself, so I wouldn’t use them again

"Returning it was way more hassle than it should’ve been"
My first thought was, “Nope, this is already annoying.” I couldn’t figure out how to start a return, and nothing about the process felt clear or easy. It seemed like nobody put much effort into making returns simple.
"Not a lot of equipment to choose from"
I stopped by hoping to get a lift, but they didn’t have the one I needed. I figured I’d go with my backup option, and that was gone too. Just kind of wasted my morning, and there was something about it that made the whole thing extra frustrating.

"Pricing was way too unclear"
I felt stupid for trusting them as long as I did. I was trying to figure out what I’d actually be paying, but the pricing wasn’t clear at all and seemed buried behind vague service descriptions. With car stuff, I don’t want to guess or get surprised later, so I ended up walking away
"Scheduling Was So Simple"
I was able to book my appointment really quickly without going back and forth on the phone. it just makes sense to have scheduling be this easy.

"I reached out to Express Lube and..."
I reached out to Express Lube and Rental hoping they’d help me get the issue sorted out without a bunch of hassle. At first, I figured it would be a quick fix and that someone there would take care of it.
Instead, I felt like I had to keep chasing them for updates, and every time I got an answer, it either changed or didn’t actually solve anything. it felt like they dropped the ball and left me to deal with the back-and-forth.
By the end, I was still stuck with the same problem and no clear path forward. Frustrating experience, and I wish they had just taken responsibility and handled it properly.
